What’s included in the remaster
What do I get in the bundle? When you purchase the remaster, you get the campaign of Modern Warfare 2 in its updated version. If you are not sure whether you should spend money on it, find out here, who it is worth it for.

The game comes as a standalone. You do not need Modern Warfare (2019) as a base game to play the remaster. You only need Modern Warfare or the free Warzone if you want to secure the digital contents of the bundle.
Modern Warfare ranked number 1 in the sales of games in March in the PS Store due to the remaster. The bundle and digital contents are evidently quite popular.
Will the multiplayer come? The multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2 is considered by many fans as the best in the entire series. However, with the current offer, only the campaign is being remastered.
So far, there are no official plans from Activision to remaster the multiplayer. However, that does not stop the players from continuously demanding it. A leak even suggests that a remaster of the multiplayer may follow.
The respective leaker “TheGamingRevolution” has already made a name for himself with accurate predictions before, but whether this will also be the case for Modern Warfare 2 remains to be seen.
