The manga of Captain Tsubasa is ending, but the story continues on a new platform. The creator of the work is not finished yet. MeinMMO reveals what lies behind it.
The era of Captain Tsubasa, one of the most legendary sports manga, is coming to an end. Yoichi Takahashi, the creator of this iconic work, announced earlier this year that he will be retiring.
After a proud 43 years, he decided to conclude the manga along with two ongoing projects (Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun and Captain Tsubasa: Memories).

What happens next? But the world of Captain Tsubasa does not stop there. Takahashi has announced that despite his retirement, he will continue drawing new episodes of the story. The story of ‘Captain Tsubasa’ is not over yet! That is for sure

The stories will not be colored or shaded, allowing him to tell the story at a new, faster

Thank you for the support for ‘Captain Tsubasa’. Now that I have finished drawing the last episode for ‘Captain Tsubasa Magazine’, I am relieved to have completed the ongoing series. Finally, I can live without having to worry about meeting “deadlines”. I am retiring as a manga artist.
