Professionals in League of Legends rarely stick with just one team – at least if they are not called Faker. Now, a European LoL legend is already planning the next transfer, even though his new team has only existed for 2 weeks.
Which LoL legend is it about? The Swedish LoL professional Rekkles started his career in 2012. For over 10 years he has played the role of ADC and achieved some successes. With several victories in the LEC, the European league, and 6 appearances at the Worlds, he became one of the best ADCs in LoL. In 2018, he achieved second place at the Worlds with his team Fnatic.
Since 2024, however, he has been playing as a support and managed to become European champion twice with the streamer team Los Ratones. Since March 4, 2026, he officially plays for Team Witchcraft, a team of Twitch streamer Nemesis. There he plays with 4 of the 5 team members from Los Ratones (lol.fandom.com).
Rekkles is already planning his future for 2026
What are his plans for this year? Although Rekkles is still part of Team Witchcraft, he is already planning for the year 2026. In March and August, the LoL pro wants to co-stream the two major international tournaments before the Worlds. The first of the two tournaments, First Stand 2026, started on March 16, 2026.
In the meantime, he will go to a bootcamp in Korea and wants to play a mix of support and ADC there. In November, the transfers after the Worlds will take place, during which many teams exchange players or hire new ones.
During this time, he wants to look for opportunities to continue working as a support, ADC, or coach. The thought of returning as an ADC particularly excites many of his fans. The bootcamp in Korea aims to prepare him as best as possible for the transfer, as he mentions in the stream excerpt (x.com).
Fans want “the return of the ADC king”
What do fans say about his plan? His plan was also shared on Reddit and many fans are writing their opinions about it.
The Reddit user Constant-Competitive writes: “The return of the ADC king!” Also on X, a gif was posted showing the title of the third Lord of the Rings movie (The Return of the King), with the caption: “Rekkles ADC Arc”.
Other fans are also happy that Rekkles might return as an ADC in the professional scene. The Reddit user fictionallymarried believes that Rekkles is not a bad support but belongs in the role of ADC. Over 180 other players agreed with him (as of March 17, 2026, at 11:30 AM).
Rekkles’ former team Los Ratones was quite successful. In February 2026, the team of the Twitch streamer Caedrel failed in front of almost 600,000 viewers. Shortly after, it was announced that Los Ratones would disband: A Twitch streamer’s LoL team failed in front of almost 600,000 viewers, now it is disbanding.
