Heirlooms from World of Warcraft are becoming much cheaper. This will soon make leveling Twinks a budget-friendly affair!
Several days ago, we reported on MeinMMO that there are many new heirlooms in the upcoming Patch 8.1.5 of World of Warcraft, which also scale up to level 120. This makes leveling Twinks easier since the character gains more experience points. However, the individual heirlooms and their upgrades were extremely expensive. More than 100,000 Gold was required for a single set.
Price reduction of up to 75%: In the latest version of Patch 8.1.5, the costs of the heirlooms have been drastically reduced. This applies not only to the “new” upgrades from Patch 8.1.5 but also to the old heirlooms and their improvements. Here you can see the new prices for the upgrades:
| Level | Armor | Weapon |
| 90 | 500 Gold | 750 Gold |
| 100 | 1000 Gold | 1500 Gold |
| 110 | 2000 Gold | 3000 Gold |
| 120 | 5000 Gold | 7500 Gold |
This reduces prices by 50% to 66% depending on the level, making it affordable for players who do not play World of Warcraft as an economic simulation and are usually short on cash.
Blizzard makes leveling more enjoyable: Along with the recent reduction in required experience points and the introduction of an XP potion that increases the experience gained, Blizzard is taking many measures to make leveling easier and cheaper. This should please many players who are already looking forward to leveling a Zandalari Troll or a Kul Tiraner in the coming months.
Do you think it’s good that heirlooms are cheaper and thus more accessible? Or should such a strong boost in leveling cost a lot of Gold so that not every player can have it? Let us know in the comments!
