What happened to the player from Lord of the Rings Online? On June 13, 2024, Brennan “Leeindwyn” Hamilton was attacked by his roommate, who was actually about to move out, with a brass knuckles. The reason for the confrontation is unclear.
What is clear is that the attack could have ended up fatal. According to the report on gofundme.com, Brennan was rushed to the hospital just in time to treat the brain hemorrhage caused by the blows. His head was stitched with 45 staples, and the broken collarbone had to be fixed with a metal plate.

The perpetrator was reportedly apprehended by the police at the scene, but according to an update from July 4, 2024, was allowed to leave jail on a “low bail.”
How is Brennan doing today? The man has since undergone surgery on his collarbone and had the staples removed from his head. However, he continues to suffer from pain and cognitive issues. Additionally, he needs help from another person for everyday tasks like showering.

The goal is to raise enough money to cover current bills for hospital, care, rent, and more. Of the targeted $4,500, $2,775 have already been donated.
Next Friday (July 19, 2024), an in-game event is scheduled to take place on the Crickhollow server in parallel with the fundraising campaign, in the form of a walk to Rivendell. It starts at 8 PM server time at the docks of Celomdin.
Low-level characters are welcome, and there are enough veterans present to protect the walkers on their way. The plan is to visit as many elven sites as possible, experience one or two surprises along the way, and celebrate Sally’s birthday as well.
