In Destiny 1, there were always rare ships that were sold at intervals by the shipwright Amanda Holliday. One of these coveted ships is currently available: CX20 Misfit, which has only been available four times for purchase. On May 21, 2019, it will be available for the first time after 2 years.
What kind of ship is this? The coveted ship is the CX20 Misfit. It is a rare ship, belonging to the blue rarity.
The Misfit is a ship of the Kestrel class, thus it has similarities with the other Destiny 1 ships of this class. However, the Misfit has a unique coloring, petrol with golden accents.
How do you get the ship? The ship will be sold by Amanda Holliday in the Tower hangar for the next three days. Guardians have to pay 7,520 Glimmer for the treasure, but the ship will not only land in your inventory, but also in your kiosk, the Destiny 1 version of the collection. If you accidentally dismantle the ship, you can always retrieve it from your kiosk.
In Destiny 2, players currently find an old friend from Destiny 1 again.
What is special about the ship? The special thing is that the ship has only been sold four times in the entire history of Destiny 1. According to Game Rant, the CX20 Misfit was sold in October 2014, in June 2015, and in February 2017, so it has been more than two years since Guardians could last purchase the ship.
Amanda Holliday only has a limited number of ships and Sparrows in Destiny 1. She offers each player five vehicles, and the models change every few days. Therefore, the likelihood of a particularly desired model being present is relatively low.
What do the players say? The news about the rare ship quickly made the rounds in the Destiny subreddit. The prospect of this special ship seems to delight the Destiny 1 veterans.
Some players announced they wanted to log back into the original or reinstall the game just to buy the CX20 Misfit. Apparently, some collectors still lack the ship to have “truly” completed Destiny 1.
