Finally, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is getting the “Adventure Sync” feature. Fans have been wishing for this for a long time. We will show you why this feature is so good.
What was announced? A few weeks ago, Niantic announced the “Adventure Sync” feature. Now, emails are being sent to players stating that the feature is about to be released. So it won’t be long before Adventure Sync is enabled for all players.

A release date for when the feature will appear is still pending. Players are excited about the announcement on Reddit, saying “My battery is very grateful for this” or “Finally, I won’t have problems opening the portal chests anymore.”
What can the feature do? The predecessor of Wizards Unite, Pokémon GO, has had this function for several months. It uses data collected by Google Fit (Android) or the Health app (iOS) to credit to the game.
Players no longer need to have Wizards Unite open for the distances traveled to be credited to the game. This works with Adventure Sync even when the app is closed. When logging back into Wizards Unite, the data will be synchronized with the fitness apps and added to the game.
Collecting kilometers to open the portal chests will therefore become much more convenient.
Why Adventure Sync is so important
How long the wish has existed: Since the release of Wizards Unite, players have been expecting that they could also use the function from Pokémon GO in their Harry Potter game.
In June, we already reported that fans want Adventure Sync for Wizards Unite so that steps and kilometers are counted even when the app is switched off. Players wondered at that time why collecting kilometers in the game was so difficult and demanded help.
