The superhero hit “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” is currently in theaters. For the sequel to the Spider-Man film, the community hopes for a familiar face from the HBO series “The Last of Us”.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is currently taking over theaters and even overtook the DC blockbuster “The Dark Knight” as the best superhero film of all time. It is the sequel to “Spider-Man: A New Universe”.
The next film in the Spider-Man saga will be titled “Beyond the Spider-Verse” and will hit theaters in 2024.
A Hollywood actor and the community wish for a certain new addition for the third part, known as Din Djarin from the Disney series “The Mandalorian” or in the role of Joel Miller in the “The Last of Us” series from HBO: Pedro Pascal.

“He should be a Spider-Person, a quirky, old Spider-Person”
The fans’ wish for actor Pedro Pascal to get a Spider-Verse role was sparked by an interview.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, actor Oscar Isaac, who voices the character Miguel O’Hara in Across the Spider-Verse, was asked whom he would like to have in the next film:
“I don’t know. They [the filmmakers] are so brilliant at finding the right person for the right role, but maybe Pedro Pascal. Let’s find something for him. He should be a Spider-Person, a quirky, old Spider-Person” (via gq-magazine.com).
Following this, the character designer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Kris Anka, spoke on Twitter and commented: “I’m sure I can create something”.
How does the community react to this? In the Twitter comments, many users express their enthusiasm about the idea of Pedro Pascal getting a Spider role. Some directly suggest characters that the actor could take on under Anka’s post:

However, there is still no official information on whether Pedro Pascal will indeed have a role in the upcoming Spider-Man film.
