The yet to be properly released submachine gun CX-9 can be played in Call of Duty: Warzone with a lot of luck. And the CoD pro NICKMERCS is convinced that everyone will only play this weapon after trying it out, if it should indeed come.
This is the weapon in question: It is about the CX-9. This is a fast-firing submachine gun – apparently still from the time of Modern Warfare. Because it can, among other things, be unlocked and used in the co-op survival mode of CoD: Modern Warfare.
The special thing about this weapon: In Warzone or in Multiplayer of Modern Warfare, this weapon has not properly appeared yet. Currently, you cannot unlock, upgrade, and use the CX-9 there. Whether it will be completely released there at some point is unclear.
But with luck, you can already take it into the Battle Royale since the start of Season 2. And the consensus is: The gun packs a punch, and it would definitely count as top-tier; some even consider it OP.
This is how you currently get the CX-9 in Warzone: In Warzone, you can currently only find the weapon in a special version, namely in the form of the Serac blueprint – and only with extreme luck. It drops very rarely from the also rare orange/golden loot crates. It is also said to exist as a very rare “ground loot”.
If it is even close to how it is now, you won’t see anything else
This is what NICKMERCS says about the CX-9: Now the well-known streamer and CoD pro NICKMERCS has finally been able to try the weapon himself and was very excited – but also nervous, as he admits. Because regarding the weapon, the meta apparently worries him.
“I was only able to use the thing for half the game, but you can see why it’s so hard to get it,” says NICKMERCS almost reverently in his latest video. “The thing is a laser, at all distances. It has a crazy TTK (Time to Kill) that exceeds everything,” he continues.
“I look forward to when this weapon lands in Warzone, but I am also nervous again. If it’s even close to how it is now, you won’t see anything else on the map,” he concludes.

When will the weapon come? That is not clear. Not even if it will ever be completely introduced – that is, in the regular version apart from the Serac blueprint.
But as mentioned: With luck, you can currently play with the weapon in Battle Royale. And if you actually manage to get the CX-9 into your hands during a match, make sure to try it out. Right now it is really OP and definitely worth it – regardless of whether this potential top weapon eventually comes or not.
