Savage Worlds is a fast, action-packed, and fun rulebook. Most genres, from Sci-Fi to medieval fantasy, can be played with the Pen&Paper system. Instead of specific dice or a W20 system, there is a tier system here. This means that a skill like Shooting has a tier and for each tier a die. Starting with a W4, the die can be increased to a W12.
A roll is normally considered a success if a 4 is rolled. With the so-called exploding die, the effects of the roll can be enhanced. If the maximum value of the die is rolled, another roll can be made to improve the final result.
For whom is Savage Worlds? The Pen&Paper is well suited for groups that enjoy a fun and action-packed system. With the exploding die, cinematic scenes can emerge, and thanks to the broad-based rule system, different settings can be played.
