Players are waiting for the character Ayaka in Genshin Impact. A leak now reveals that the wait might actually be worth it. Because Ayaka is already considered by some to be among the strongest characters in Genshin Impact, alongside Xiao and Diluc. MeinMMO explains what the situation is.
The character Ayaka has been awaited in Genshin Impact for some time. Already in an earlier leak about Ayaka, it became clear that Ayaka will probably not arrive until July with 1.7 or even later. However, the wait for the Inazuma princess could indeed be worth it, as a known leaker now explains. Because Ayaka could become one of the strongest damage dealers in Genshin Impact.
The leaker Sakuna has previously provided information from later “Genshin Impact” versions of the game with some exciting details (via Twitter.com).
Now the leaker has shared further information about Ayaka, and the Cryo character could be really strong. However, keep in mind that this does not involve unofficial information. Especially character values could change significantly from beta to official release.
According to the leak, Ayaka is at least as strong as the character Xiao
Who is Xiao? The Anemo character Xiao came into the game with update 1.2 and is considered one of the strongest damage dealers in the game according to various tier lists. He is particularly distinguished by his special ultimate ability (via game8.co).
The well-known leaker Sukuna from Genshin Impact writes:
Xiao, who is an Anemo character, is already Top 3 DPS in the current game. Ayaka as Cryo DPS would also benefit from reaction damage; it’s not hard to understand this logic.

What makes Ayaka so strong? Her leaked base stats from the beta are already very good (via honeyhunterworld.com). Additionally, her critical damage is significantly increased at ascension, from which the Cryo character Ganyu already benefits greatly.
With her Cryo attribute, strong combinations can also be played out. This works especially well with Pyro characters like Klee or Yanfei with the “Melt” reaction, causing additional damage.
While Xiao strengthens existing elements with “Swirl”, Ayaka could benefit greatly from the elemental reaction. Where Xiao primarily benefits from additional Anemo characters and healing from other characters, Ayaka could have enormous damage potential primarily through reactions.
What are the reactions? Some users already consider Xiao to be a much too strong character and unfavorably refer to him as “Power Creep.” This refers to characters or items that significantly surpass existing characters and are thus intended to entice players to spend money.
The fact that a character who is supposed to be even stronger than Ayaka is now being introduced does not please every gamer, especially those saving their resources for the next wish.
Others believe that there are already significantly stronger characters than Xiao. The Cryo character Ganyu is regarded as a strong damage dealer, and the new character Eula is also considered particularly strong by many.
Many players had hoped that Ayaka would also come with update 1.6, but that will not happen. Because MiHoyo has now presented update 1.6 of Genshin Impact and here the Anemo character Kazuha is making his debut.
