A statistic about League of Legends shows which champions are most AFK in the MOBA by Riot Games. Ironically, the boss of the underworld shines with his absence.
Statistics show the AFK rates of champions: Every gamer who plays various multiplayer games knows them: the random team members who do not participate in the game and are absent.
League of Legends is also not spared from AFK players. Some heroes and certain ranks stand out as being particularly often absent.
The site “League of Graphs” collects this data and presents the respective statistics in an illustrative manner. This reveals which champion in the popular MOBA by Riot Games particularly often leaves his teammates in the lurch.
For many years, the champion Yasuo dominated. But he has now been dethroned.
The Boss vs. the dishonored Warrior
Which champion is most absent? Sett, the boss, is considered the leader of Ionia’s underworld – a task that evidently takes a lot of time. Who can care about trivial rank matches when he has to run a criminal empire?
With a total of 1.96%, players who play Sett are most AFK. No other champion is absent in as many games as the top laner. Only Yasuo poses serious competition and is closely following Sett with 1.95% (via League of Graphs).
From the third place onwards, the AFK rates drop significantly, and for now, it remains a duel between the boss and the dishonored warrior.

- Place 4 – Volibear: 1.78%
- Place 5 – Akali: 1.70%
However, we have it relatively well in Europe. Only 4% of all matches on EUW have to deal with an AFK player. In Turkey (8.5%) and Brazil (6.5%) it is much worse. The lowest rates are in Japan (1.6%) and Korea (2.3%).
Which champion is least AFK? At the end of the AFK statistics stands Lulu. The sorceress is absent in only 0.89% of her matches and is slightly better off than Rakan, who disappears from the keyboard in 0.91% of games.
But champions Jarvan IV, Annie, Janna, Nami, and Yumi also remain below an absence rate of 1%. Exemplary, considering Sett and Yasuo; especially with the magical cat, it may please some players when the opposing Yumi is AFK.
