In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, you can get special signature weapons and further enhance them with skins. One weapon has a particularly crazy Mastercraft skin: the Tactical Unicorn!
What are signature weapons? In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, you can get special variants of weapons. These signature weapons look different from the standard versions but have no gameplay advantages.
The Tactical Unicorn: The signature weapons can be further enhanced with skins. To do this, you must complete certain challenges. For the submachine gun GKS, the ultimate Mastercraft skin is the Tactical Unicorn.
The weapon then turns into a (night)mare of bright colors, glittery stones, and overall pony-friendliness. The barrel is shaped like a unicorn, the forward grip has funny wobbling eyes, and a rainbow-colored mane flows on the tactical rail.
More kills, more glitter: It gets even better! If you rack up a lot of kills, the weapon will become even crazier. The colors glow brighter, and the gun sparkles joyfully!
Oh my God, I must have it!
If you are squealing with joy right now, you might be wondering how to get the Tactical Unicorn. First, you need to get a signature version of the GKS.
How do I get signature weapons? Some signature weapons, like the signature versions of the Strife and MX-9, were available as bonuses in special editions of the game.
However, the remaining weapons, such as the GKS, must be won in-game. You do this by leveling up on the Black Market (the progression system of Black Ops 4). Among the random loot available at some levels as rewards, a signature weapon like the GKS might drop.
Okay, I have my signature GKS, what now? Congratulations, you’ve already overcome the hardest hurdle. Now you just need to get 50 kills with your new signature GKS. That should be doable.
Once 50 enemies have died by your weapon, the Tactical Unicorn will be unlocked and can be used in the class editor as a skin for your signature GKS.
Is this still Call of Duty or already Fortnite?
The reactions from fans observed so far have been strongly “Pro-Unicorn.” Players seem to love the crazy look of the weapon and already compare it to colorful Fortnite skins like the Color Bomber or the Chief Cuddler.
What do you think of the weapon? But how do you see the “Tactical Unicorn”? Is it just a damn funny weapon skin like the famous “Dark Matter” or does it ruin the game for you when grim soldiers brutally and bloodily shoot you to pieces with colorful unicorn weapons?
