Players have found a trick in GTA Online that allows even heavy vehicles to fly through the air. That would be a different way to “drive” from point A to point B.
What is this trick? The player Blaze_Razgriz1 shows a way to make his truck fly.
In the clip, you can see him flying his truck through the air as if it were a regular airplane:
He even manages to land on top of the highest building in Los Santos: the Maze Bank Tower.
How is this even possible?
What do you need for this trick? This trick only works with arena vehicles like the Behemoth, Sasquatch, and Imperator, which additionally have 2 upgrades installed. The vehicle must be able to jump like the Ruiner 2000.
Then, this vehicle needs to have a Shunt Boost added. This boost is actually meant for quickly dodging left and right on the road or pushing cars away from you.
You can have these two upgrades installed at the Arena Workshop by your mechanic.
The trick is not so easy to perform
How do you make the vehicles fly? Now that you have an arena vehicle that meets the requirements mentioned above, you can try to get the vehicle into the air.
With these steps, it should work:
- Jump with the vehicle into the air
- Rotate the entire vehicle onto one side so it “lies” in the air
- Activate the Shunt Boost on the underside to push you upwards
You must execute these 3 steps quickly while the vehicle is still in the air. You only have a few seconds for this.
Once you’ve done this, you need to keep the vehicle in the tilted position and activate the boost repeatedly as soon as the yellow bar, visible at the bottom of the mini-map, is filled again.
The trick can be difficult to execute. However, if you succeed, you will surely have a lot of fun and experience a whole different aspect of the game.
