The voice actors of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 have done an excellent job. However, one of the actors is having a hard time dealing with the praise. For the reason, he is celebrated even more.
How did the actor react? Charlie Cox voices Gustave in the English version of Expedition 33. He was a guest at the Washington State Summer Con last weekend. There, he answered fans’ questions, but when asked about his work on Clair Obscur, he suddenly felt very uncomfortable.

The impressive thing: Cox reportedly spent only 4 hours in the studio. And that’s exactly why he feels uncomfortable:
People are constantly saying how great it is, congratulating me, and I feel like a total fraud. I am so happy for the company, and I am so glad that it has been received very well.
But although Cox is humble about the situation, fans celebrate him even more for this reaction.

How are fans reacting? On X, a fan writes about what an impressive performance Cox delivered. For the 4 hours that the voice actor was supposedly in the recording studio, his performance was extraordinarily good. Moreover, it is impressive how many lines he was able to record in that time.
Another user on X writes that he was so impressed by Cox’s performance that he watched Daredevil. Charlie Cox has been voicing the Marvel character since 2015 and is currently heard in the revival Daredevil: Born Again.
