A gamer has showcased a beautiful gaming PC. The community jokes that the system wouldn’t survive a meltdown. After all, the entire case is made of exquisite glass.
Anyone looking to build a gaming PC has numerous options on how to design their system. Among them, the case is one of the most important components:
- One option is to go for a very small case and have the PC virtually disappear.
- Or you can opt for a large case to show the world what great hardware you’ve built in.
User Kumag1989 has now presented a particularly unique system. He has built his PC into a glass table. The specs and appearance are impressive. You can check out several photos and the design on reddit:
Gaming PC is built into a glass table and looks great
What exactly did he do? The gamer designed a unique build. Instead of mounting his components in a normal PC case, he crafted a table where he installed his gaming PC. The result looks spectacular.
What hardware is inside? Both the “case” and the water cooling were developed by the user himself. The remaining components are cleverly integrated within the table:
- Case: custom-designed table
- CPU: Intel 11900K
- CPU Cooler: custom water cooling
- GPU: MSI 4090 Gaming Trio
- Mainboard: Z590 AORUS PRO AX
- RAM: 32G Trident Z
- Power Supply: ASUS ROG Thor 850W
Additionally, a small plant is integrated inside. The PC builder explained that it is artificial and doesn’t need regular watering. There are even genetically modified houseplants for gamers that cost quite a bit.
Community is excited and fears the first meltdown
How does the community react? Other readers are absolutely amazed by the build and state that they have never seen such a beautiful build.
Some in the community are already joking that the desk would present its owner with entirely new challenges. One person says (via reddit.com): “A meltdown, and that’s the end of the glass.” The thread starter then remarked that he would have to temper his anger a bit with the new desk.
What do you think? Do you also find the system impressive and would you like such a “table” or do you think it’s too much fuss? Feel free to tell us in the comments!
More fascinating gaming systems: A company has developed a gaming PC that has a special feature. The system stands on legs on your desk. How practical that is, everyone has to decide for themselves. You can check out the strange contraption on MeinMMO:
