With Season 11, Diablo 4 received fresh content, including for the Nightmare Dungeons. Among other things, new affixes are waiting for you, and one of them can give you the strongest items in the entire game.
What’s new in Season 11?
- A new value called resilience has been introduced, summarizing your average defense against all types of damage. Additionally, there are now seasonal ranks, while permanent bonuses from region progress and the Altars of Lilith have been removed.
- Surprisingly, the Paladin also made his way into the ARPG. You can play him since the start of the new season, as long as you pre-order the new DLC “Lord of Hatred”.
- Blizzard has also tweaked the crafting systems and expanded them with a seasonal feature: the sanctification. With this, you can give your items random bonuses and with some luck even unlock a mythical property.
When it comes to the Mythic Uniques, you shouldn’t just rely on luck with the Sanctification or random drops. Players have discovered a new sigil for Nightmare Dungeons that grants you what are called “magnificent treasures”.
5 Mythics and 1 Magnificent Spark in one run
What trick grants me Mythic Uniques? On Reddit, users are currently discussing a new affix on a Nightmare Dungeon sigil. It is called “Mythic Prankster.” In the description, it says: “The magnificent treasures of this place have attracted an unusual yet familiar arch-nemesis…”
In the comments, user Devil1412 shows a screenshot with five Mythic Uniques in his inventory along with a mythical bag. He writes: “Yep, I also got [a sigil]. It includes a shiny goblin that drops a lot of good stuff (a bag with a Magnificent Spark and 2 legendary runes). That’s the loot at Torment level 2.”
Diablo expert Rob also confirms this in his YouTube video from December 12, 2025. In it, he explains that this Nightmare Dungeon affix allows for plenty of loot. In his run at Torment level 4, he encounters the purple glowing treasure goblin “Fedric the Shimmering Old,” who drops five Mythics and a treasure bag with a Magnificent Spark and three runes.
Players speculate: Run before it gets patched
This is what players are discussing now: In the Reddit comments, many fear that this feature could be patched soon. Some even go as far as suggesting to delete corresponding screenshots to keep the trick under the radar as long as possible.
User Noodles5583 also points out that this really pays off only at Torment levels: “I got one last night at level 27 in my first Nightmare Dungeon. It’s annoying that you only get one Spark and runes until you reach the Torment levels. I thought I would get a Mythic earlier.”
Whether the sigil affix will actually be adjusted is currently unclear. Some players even suspect it could be intentional to obtain many Mythics at the Torment levels – provided you get the right sigil, such as by crafting Nightmare sigils.
The mythical treasure goblin “Fedric the Shimmering Old” has actually been in Diablo 4 for a while. Otherwise, he drops a Mythic Unique and a Magnificent Spark if you’re lucky enough to encounter and defeat him. However, few players have seen him. Thus, there was consensus: This is possibly the rarest enemy in gaming history.
