A small team developed a SciFi shooter on Steam where you can fight against space pirates in co-op with your friends. The demo phase was supposed to end soon, but the interest was so great that the developers have now extended it.
What kind of game is this? This is the SciFi shooter Jump Ship. In this game, you find yourself in a squad with three other friends and you must then explore space in co-op missions, loot outposts, and fight against other space pirates. Your ship is important, as it takes you to the different missions.
You must take good care of it, defend it, and if necessary, repair it when you take massive damage. As our shooter expert Dariusz Müller mentioned, the game is strongly reminiscent of Sea of Thieves, but in space.
The demo of the game was supposed to run until June 16, but due to the high demand, the developers decided to extend the demo further.

Due to the positive response from the community and the over 500,000 downloads during the Steam Next Fest, the demo version of Jump Ship will be extended until June 23 (Source: store.steampowered.com) – for another week. You can still download the test version now and start with your friends.
How good is the game? The game is still in development, but regarding the demo, the shooter boasts over 3,000 user reviews with 92% and a rating of “very positive”. There are also many voices that have opinions on the current state of the game, and they bring a positive vibe:

When is the release coming? The release is supposed to be in 2025. There will also be an early access set for summer 2025. However, there is unfortunately no exact start time yet.
