A little rogue sets new records in WoW: Burning Crusade Classic. He strikes so quickly that spellcasters have no chance.
Especially in World of Warcraft Classic and Burning Crusade Classic, the “low-level PvP” is a unique world. There are many stories of rogues who are so strong in the range of level 10 to 19 that they seem nearly unstoppable. However, instead of specializing in particularly high attack power, a rogue has now chosen a different path – he has reached maximum attack speed.
What happened? In the WoW Classic subreddit, the player exehntv submitted a clip showing his rogue in PvP situations. His level 10 rogue holds its ground in Warsong Gulch against other players, up to level 19.
That’s not so unusual, as there are many rogue twinks who are quite strong at level 10. But the troll rogue “Agmget” has a different goal than most other Uber-twinks and has focused on a single stat: haste.
The rogue’s attack speed is a dizzying 0.25. This means the rogue hits with each weapon 4 times per second!
In this context, exehntv also discovered that 0.25 represents the “hard cap.” Attack speed cannot become faster, even if he stacks more haste.
What makes this so powerful? Several aspects ensure that the high attack speed proves absolutely devastating to all opponents.
- Many procs of effects: An extremely high number of attacks ensures that weapon enchants, which have a chance to trigger on each hit, occur very frequently.
- Spell delay: The second aspect is the delay of spells. Each successful melee attack causes a “spell pushback” for enemy spellcasters – a delay of the spell currently being cast. With an attack speed of 0.25, it is nearly impossible for spellcasters to cast any spell at all.
The combination of these two factors – along with the very good equipment of the rogue – creates an almost unstoppable killing machine in PvP.
Why does this work? The reason why such extreme speed works at all lies in the stat scaling of World of Warcraft. In Burning Crusade, secondary stats like haste have their full effect in the range of levels 1 to 10. Here, 40 points of haste already provide a 100% increase.
At level 70, 40 points of haste would only give an increase of about 2% to 3% haste.
For this reason, many PvP rogues are also at level 10 and not at level 19, as they can maximize their stats.
Community reacts enthusiastically: The video is well received by other players. Alone in the WoW Classic subreddit, the clip has nearly 3,000 upvotes after just a few hours, and it is especially entertaining in the fight against spellcasters. You can actually watch the entire video in full length on YouTube.

The spell pushback is absolutely ridiculous. You made it so their spells are cast backward.
It’s nice to see that even after almost 15 years, people continue to come up with new ways to achieve new milestones and absurd successes in Twink PvP of WoW Classic (or in this case, BC Classic).
What do you think of such rogues? An impressive thing when you encounter them in PvP? Or just annoying as they ruin low-level PvP?
