Every Pokémon calls its own name or at least makes another sound. Some of them sound strange, but there is also one Pokémon that says more in the anime than it initially appears.
Which Pokémon is it? Katagami is also known as UB-04 Schwerthieb and is one of the Ultra Beasts from Pokémon. These are mysterious beasts that first appear in Pokémon Sun and Moon.
The Pokémon is of the Grass/Steel type and looks like a mix between origami paper and a katana. Accordingly, it can perform several attacks related to cutting and swords. When it speaks, it actually calls its own name.
Normally, Pokémon do not speak the language of humans. Only a few exceptions like Meowth have learned to speak like humans. But Katagami can speak human language, at least when a trick is applied.

How does the trick work? Sometimes it seems like Katagami makes strange noises. But those who listen closely might notice that Katagami makes some sounds that are similar to human language.
The trick: The sound of the Pokémon must be played backwards. Then it becomes clear that Katagami often repeats the same sentence. What it says can be heard in the following video by YouTuber Poipole Entertainment:
What does the Pokémon say? The Pokémon is just as brutal as its cutting art. It repeatedly says that it has cut a worthless object again. It often rearranges the words in the sentence, but the meaning remains the same.
Are there other Pokémon that can speak? The most famous example is probably Meowth. It has learned human language and can therefore come up with devious plans with Jessie and James to steal Pikachu.
Chatot, on the other hand, is a Pokémon where every specimen speaks human language. However, Chatot can only repeat the sentences they have heard before.
