A player wanted to find out if a stranger would help him in ARC Raiders or betray him. It started promisingly but ended as a thriller.
What kind of test is this? The content creator “ayy_tonyromero” tested the good in the players of ARC Raiders and presented the result in a video on TikTok.
He asked a stranger Raider if they could help him extract. He had found the rare blueprint for the Tempest (an epic assault rifle), but no safety pouch because he was playing with a free loadout. Now he wanted to avoid dying with the blueprint and losing it.

How did the test go? The stranger player agreed to help the content creator and accompanied him to an exit. During the run, the two talked via the game’s voice chat. “ayy_tonyromero” mentioned he found the blueprint in a random trash can in the area.
When the content creator took minor fall damage after a small drop, the helpful Raider even healed him with a bandage. But he hinted that he was also missing the rare blueprint: “Yes, it spawns on this map. That’s why I’m here. But I’m glad you got it.”
Arriving at the extraction point, an old subway station, the stranger offers to provide cover: “When you press the button, I will hold you.” But when “ayy_tonyromero” pressed the button that was supposed to send the subway to Speranza, his new acquaintance shot him coldly in the back.
The content creator’s character went down, and the treacherous Raider didn’t hesitate to deliver the final blow. The last thing “ayy_tonyromero” heard from the stranger were the words “I need the Tempest. I need it!” Then the raid was over.
But “ayy_tonyromero” lied. He never had a Tempest blueprint.
A major feature of the game: ARC Raiders consistently manages to tell such stories. Completely unknown players encounter each other in the lobbies and can choose whether to help each other or betray the other Raiders. Often, this ends in betrayal. This story is no different: Several players from ARC Raiders helped a stranger to the elevator, but a Twitch streamer ruined the nice moment.
