It has been almost 6 years since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. Nevertheless, there are still some players who spend many hours in the world. One has now discovered a grave after 700 hours that brings a fan theory to light.
What kind of grave is it? The player discovered the grave of Greta van der Linde. She was the mother of Dutch, the leader of his own gang. The gravestone reads that she was a loving mother who lived from 1835 to 1881.
On Reddit, user Alaska022 posted his find:
If you want to search for the grave yourself, you need to go to the cemetery on the south side of Blackwater Church. The grave is located in the second row. However, you usually arrive at Blackwater Church only towards the end of the game, so you should be patient.
With the find, the user also triggered a well-known theory. According to this, fans believe that something very special is located under the grave.

The Most Valuable Grave in Red Dead Redemption 2
What is so special about the grave? At the beginning of the game, we experience a robbery in Blackwater. The $150,000 from the operation, which Dutch is said to have hidden somewhere, remains an important topic all the way to the epilogue. In the epilogue, there are several endings that are related to the money.
Some users have the theory that Dutch could have simply hidden the money in his mother’s grave. However, Dutch himself mentions in a conversation with Arthur and Hosea that he only learned about his mother’s burial from an uncle a few months ago. Therefore, he couldn’t possibly have known where the grave is located.
But if we have learned anything in Red Dead Redemption 2, it is how manipulative Dutch is. Therefore, it could still be that he hid the money there to mislead the others.
