A new trick allows the Overwatch heroine Brigitte to move even faster. This is fatal for opposing teams.
New Brigitte trick: Brigitte has previously had good opportunities to move quickly herself and opponents with her abilities. The streamer arek2597 has now discovered a new trick that allows Brigitte to combine both for a super jump.
Brigitte’s “Rocket Jump”
How does the trick work? The new “Rocket Jump” trick from Brigitte uses her abilities Shield Bash and her Flail Strike. By combining these, Brigitte can quickly cover large distances or reach hard-to-access positions.
Brigitte must quickly use her Flail Strike after a Shield Bash while in the air to achieve a much greater distance forward than by just using Shield Bash alone.

What is the trick useful for? By using this “Rocket Jump”, Brigitte can reach distant positions and quickly flank enemy teams. This is particularly advantageous on the Junkertown map.
In the shown video, the relevant spot for defending teams is often a problem, as a Bastion is on the payload and is hard to move away from there. Brigitte could attack and distract the opponents from behind with the jump.
Brigitte has very comprehensive abilities that make her a solid all-rounder. Since Shield Bash has a relatively short cooldown, Brigitte can also use the “Rocket Jump” frequently.

Will the trick stay? Probably not. The ability for Brigitte to move so quickly and frequently over such large distances is too strong and brings too many advantages for her. Opponents can hardly do anything against it.
A similar trick was available at Brigitte’s release on the PTR. Here, she could jump significantly higher by using Shield Bash on slopes, where players usually slide down, reaching otherwise unreachable spots.
This ability was quickly removed by Blizzard through a bug fix, which is why the “Rocket Jump” likely won’t stay in the game for long either.
Currently, Overwatch is a bit lacking – a movie could change that.
