What kind of game is this? In the game Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator, you play as a paramedic going about your duties. Accompanied by an NPC partner, you rush to emergencies and stabilize patients on-site.
The game is only a complete simulation in some aspects. With your ambulance, you also like to drift through the streets like in Fast & Furious, and some tasks you are expected to perform are more suited to the fire department in real life.

As a speedy paramedic on a mission
How does the gameplay work? As a paramedic, you receive a radio call about an injured person. You immediately jump into your ambulance and race to the scene. You can drift around corners with your vehicle. You have a large speedometer displayed on the dashboard. The goal is to reach the patient as quickly as possible, even though it resembles something out of Fast & Furious in the game.
Upon arriving at the scene, you will encounter various people depending on the case that you need to save. From simple cuts to a disaster like a collapsed bridge, the game presents you with many different scenarios.
The game offers you 17 different medical instruments to examine your patients. You will always see possible diagnoses and their probabilities based on the examinations on your tablet.
Not always is the most likely diagnosis the correct one, and the game requires you to make your own decisions.
How accurate is the simulator? The game offers two different modes:
- The “classic mode,” which is intended to provide an introduction to being a paramedic
- The “simulation mode,” which is aimed at professionals and experienced players
In Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator, however, you don’t just play as a paramedic in a fast ambulance; the game also gives players some missions that you would more likely see associated with firefighting. For example, in one mission, you must rescue people from a burning building.
Thus, Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator is not a complete simulation that takes itself too seriously. Instead, it focuses on fun for the players at certain points.
