A new racing game on PS5 reminds players of their childhood as it lets iconic toy cars zip through a living room.
Which game is it? The trailer announces a sequel to Hot Wheels Unleashed with “Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged,” a racing game that lets you control the toy cars of the same name.
The racing tracks also visually resemble the tracks that could be bought for the toy cars. Like in the first part, there should again be a comprehensive editor that allows players to design their own racetracks similar to Trackmania.
In addition, the game offers online multiplayer and over 130 vehicles, whose designs players can customize according to their own ideas.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged will be released on October 19, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

What does the trailer show? In the trailer, we see a race with the iconic toy cars. The track features various obstacles such as a looping, various jump sections, and descending balls meant to knock the cars off the track.
We also see that the racetrack not only runs on the orange track parts but also leads the vehicles over a table in a family’s living room or through the garden. The cars must overcome not only stone tiles but also tall grass and a sandbox.
