Manufacturer Victrix has introduced a pro controller for the PS5. It features some special characteristics for the PS5 and PC and will officially be available in early December 2022, potentially competing with Sony’s own pro controller.
Currently, there is not much choice for anyone who wants to buy a controller for the PS5, as many of the best PS4 controllers you can buy do not work with current PS5 titles.
The selection of official PS5 controllers is therefore quite small. Sony has now introduced an official pro controller, the DualSense Edge, but there is still no official release date available.
Now the manufacturer Victrix has introduced a new pro controller for PS4, PS5, and PC. It is expected to hit the market in early December 2022 and offers some exciting features.

New pro controller features a modular design
What kind of controller is this? The new controller is named Pro BFG and is officially licensed by Sony. This means that the controller can be sold with the official PlayStation symbols.
The controller has a modular surface with interchangeable button inputs, four buttons on the back that can be assigned to any buttons. The device can be used both wired and via Bluetooth.
Additionally, the controller offers a 3.5mm headphone jack and official support for Sony’s 3D audio.
If the typical symmetrical layout used by Sony in its PlayStation controller bothers you, you can also swap parts of the controller. This way, you can achieve a layout similar to what you know from the Xbox controller. Alternatively, you can also completely remove the parts.
Through the Victrix Control Hub, you can further modify the controller, adjust button settings, reassign them or change the sound to suit your needs.
When will the controller be released? According to the English-language Amazon page, the controller will be available from early December 2022. We could not find an alternative date on Victrix’s official website.
Another pro controller for the PS5 sold out within a few hours. Whether this one will as well remains to be seen:
What should the pro controller cost? According to the manufacturer, the controller is supposed to cost $179.99. In Germany, the price may be slightly higher due to taxes and current inflation, around 200 Euros. Currently, you cannot order the device on Amazon.
