In the week from July 19 to 25, one topic dominated here on MeinMMO: New World. The MMO is doing well in beta. Also, we summarize the most important news of the week.
This week’s Highlight: On July 20, New World entered Closed Beta. Although there were recurring server issues and long wait times, it launched well on Steam with up to 190,000 simultaneous players. The most important news and guides around New World:

- In WoW, the race for World First kills took place, and the guild Echo downed Sylvanas first.
- Final Fantasy XIV is still benefiting from the massive hype around the game. Meanwhile, Naoki Yoshida, the head of the game, has apologized for the server issues.
- In Guild Wars 2, there were first glimpses of the upcoming announcement stream for the expansion End of Dragons (via GW2). Additionally, information about the development of the Canthan language was shared (via GW2).

- Tower of Fantasy visually resembles Genshin Impact. A beta has now started, showcasing a lot of new gameplay.
- Lost Ark introduced the Mage class in a video.
- The VR MMORPG Zenith has presented a new area (via MassivelyOP).
- Titan Reach started early access in February, but a payment was required. It will now be completely free-to-play until the start of the beta (via Titan Reach).
- Blade and Soul 2 now has a release date – it will be released in August in Korea (via MassivelyOP).
