A group of former Riot developers is currently working on an interesting co-op game “Project V,” which is following a very exciting concept.
What kind of game is this? The title is currently being developed under the project name “Project-V.” It aims to provide you with cooperative dungeon raids that are supposed to run similarly to a MOBA.
Teamplay comes first. You must act tactically and use the skills of your heroes accordingly, wisely, and strategically to master the dungeon run. The game is designed to offer new challenges with every run.
PvP also plays a role. The developers have not revealed how exactly, but those who enjoy competitive play and measuring themselves against others will also find satisfaction.
Project-V is still in its early stages
What is the current status of Project-V? The game has not yet reached Alpha status. The developers explain that they do not have a start date for the Alpha phase yet. However, it should be ready sometime in 2021.
Accordingly, there is also no date for a Beta or release.
It is also not yet clear for which platforms the game will be released.
Is there a way to participate in a test? The team would like to invite you to tests to gather feedback that can improve Project-V. However, there is no date for tests yet.
Nevertheless, you can already register your interest. To do this, sign up on the official website for upcoming test phases. If you are selected, you will receive an email and will be able to participate. However, this may take a while. The tests are not expected to begin before 2021.
Who is behind the game? The developer studio Vela Games was founded in 2019 by some former Riot Games employees. CEO Travis George, for example, was previously the Product Lead at Riot Games, and Lisa Newon George and Brian Kaiser also worked at Riot.
The new studio aims to bring players together through exciting multiplayer titles and to take elements from the fans’ favorite games and combine them into something new and fun. This is intended to create unforgettable gaming moments that are inspiring.
