The highlights of the week:
- The new anime MMORPG Tower of Fantasy was released on Thursday. It had some technical issues at launch, but there are immediate gifts at launch. If you want to start with the game, we have a tier list for you with the best characters.
- In World of Warcraft, a player has such an insane idea for maximizing his damage that Blizzard is changing WoW just for him.
- Lost Ark has been live in the West for 6 months. We spoke with expert Sywo on the half-anniversary of the game, who said: “It’s more fun than any other version.”
The controversy of the week: The big MMORPG hope Throne and Liberty was supposed to be released in 2022 and is supposedly finished. However, developer NCSoft now wants to release the game in 2023, according to rumors with Amazon as a partner.
The discussion of the week: Fans wanted to bring back the Lord of the Rings from 2007 with Echoes of Angmar, but were prevented from doing so by the publisher. Now the project has to shut down.

What happened with the major MMORPGs:
- In WoW, Patch 9.2.7 is coming next week and makes the auction house part of the WoW Companion App. It could also be possible that you can play the new class of the Dracthyr coming with Dragonflight before the addon.
- In Lost Ark there were some uncertainties, as players can be banned if they unwittingly accept RMT gold.
- In Final Fantasy XIV, the next patch Buried Memory is on the horizon and will come to the game on August 23 (via mmorpg.com).
- Also on August 23, the next major balance patch for Guild Wars 2 that fundamentally changes how classes work will be released (via mmorpg.com).

- New World is now going to release its new expeditionafter having delayed it due to technical issues (via mmorpg.com).
- A bug was found in Tibia that allowed players to smuggle high-level items into the starting area just to wipe out beginners.
- Bless Unleashed is celebrating its one-year anniversary but ignoring the bad feelings that the MMORPG caused with its transition to Pay2Earn (via massivelyop.com).

What happened with the MMORPGs in development?
- The new free-to-play MMORPG Profane showcases its Viking-style housing and sells skins for buildings.
- The medieval MMORPG Past Fate is set to release in August and shows the first 15 minutes of gameplay in a new presentation.
- The VR MMORPG Zenith: The Last City is getting a new expansion and advertises with “full body haptic”, which is supposed to make the game even more immersive (via mmorpg.com).
- On August 19, World of Jade Dynasty will start its first pre-alpha tech tests, but does not yet share a planned release date (via massivelyop.com).
- On August 25, a reboot of the old MMORPG Requiem: Memento Mori known as Requiem Online is scheduled to launch. You can already register for it (via mmorpg.com).
