What happened? Players report on reddit that they did not receive the prize at the lucky wheel. Instead of the rewards shown to them, they received something entirely different. This is what the bug looks like: The reddit user The_Salted_Slug uploaded the video titled “You won a free car … NOT.” You can see him with his GTA character in the casino going to the lucky wheel.

After the spin, the lucky wheel lands on the podium vehicle field. But instead of the promised payout displayed by the wheel, the game gives a completely different prize. In the upper left corner of the screen, you read “Congratulations. You have won 10,000 chips.” This is the in-game currency from the casino – worth 10,000 GTA-dollars. A car like the current podium vehicle would cost 1.7 million GTA-$ at the dealer. The player has missed out on quite a catch here.
Players suspect that he already won the car earlier and that is why he was credited chips. Because the same podium vehicle cannot be won twice. But that is not the case, explains The_Salted_Slug. The player wants to resolve the issue with a support ticket to Rockstar.
However, you don’t have to be sad about a loss of money at the lucky wheel, because there is currently a valuable bonus week active in GTA Online that brings you a lot of money.
The player is not alone with the problem. reddit user pokemontrainer29 asks in a thread if the lucky wheel is bugged for other players as well. He would have actually won 30,000 chips but only received 15,000. Others confirm that there is indeed a bug at play.
