In Fortnite, a live event with a rocket is expected to start at the end of Season 10. We will show you what hints about the event have been found.
What kind of event is this? Many hints point to a rocket launch event. A rocket is currently being built at Dusty Depot, and leaks from data miner Lucas7yoshi show what the rocket might ultimately look like.
At the end of Season 4, a rocket was launched by the Visitor. At that time, the rocket caused a large rift in the sky. The Visitor has now returned in a changed form as the “Scientist”. It seems he will either repeat or continue his mission.
The rocket construction has begun
Where is the rocket being built? On the back building at Dusty Depot, a scaffolding can be seen. Apparently, the rocket is going to be quite high. The Scientist probably needs a tall scaffold to work on it.
How far along is the construction? When entering the building where the scaffold is, you can already see the beginning of the rocket’s construction. In the center, the lower part has been placed, and if you look closely, you can see the similarity to the rift beacons.
This is special: In a corner of the building, parts of a Mech are being scanned. Is the rocket possibly made out of Mech remnants? It might be possible that the Scientist is taking apart the robots to use the materials for his project.
Is the story about to end with a new map?
Why a new map? Since the story of Seasons 4-6 is repeating, it might be possible that it is now coming to an end. If the story is concluded, a new map would make sense.
The Visitor already intended to destroy Tilted Towers in Season 4, but it went wrong. There are theories suggesting that the Scientist will now completely destroy the map.

If you closely examine the names of the locations, you can see how similar they are to their predecessors. For example, Pressure Plant becomes Power Plant and Snobby Shores becomes Sunny Shores.
When does the event start? The start date is not yet known. However, the preparations for it can be well observed in the game. The first rocket event in Season 4 served as an introduction to Season 5. So it is likely that this event will take place at the end of Season 10.
