Tonight, on April 19th, we could expect a legendary raid hour in Pokémon GO. Numerous players from New Zealand and Australia are reporting that legendary eggs are appearing on gyms everywhere. It is now clear that the raid hour is also taking place in Germany.
What have the players reported? In New Zealand and Australia, legendary eggs appeared everywhere at exactly 6 PM local time. Every gym that hadn’t had an egg yet spawned a legendary raid.
This strongly resembles the legendary lunch breaks, which always took place at noon. Now it seems there is a legendary evening hour.
Update: The legendary hour is also running in Germany. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, legendary raids featuring Latios and Giratina are spawning more frequently on the gyms.
How likely is this event for Germany
This is strange: Niantic always announced the legendary lunch breaks in advance. Now players from distant countries are reporting the same concept for this event, but nothing was announced beforehand.

Additionally, both Latios and Giratina are hatching from the eggs. A legendary lunch break was always limited to one Pokémon.
This is definitely certain: The later it gets, the more time zones are reporting about this event. There is indeed this legendary evening hour.
Players from Japan and East Asia have now also reported these occurrences.
Will this event also be held in Germany? This is not confirmed. However, if more and more time zones report it, then it will likely be the case in Germany at 6 PM as well.
It definitely doesn’t hurt to head outside at 6 PM. If a raid hour doesn’t start, then you can at least do some legendary raids, as the spawn rate of those is increased anyway.
What do I get from this raid hour? If this event truly starts today, on April 19th at 6 PM, it is definitely worth taking advantage of this hour.
After all, there is Shiny Latios, and Giratina is also among the most useful Pokémon in the game. A few raids that you can complete during this hour should pay off.
