The plot of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
What is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms about? The HBO series is based on the hedge knight novels by George R. R. Martin. It serves as a prequel to Game of Thrones, set 100 years before the main series and 100 years after House of the Dragon.
The series follows the knight Ser Duncan, who travels through Westeros with the young squire Egg
. During their journey, they overcome great dangers and a friendship develops between them. However, Egg is not just an ordinary boy; he hides a great secret.
Is the series concluded with one season? It is planned that the series will have 3 seasons to adapt the 3 hedge knight novellas. Filming for the 2nd season began in December and is set to premiere in 2027 (via Variety).
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is already the 2nd spin-off in the Game of Thrones universe. However, this is just the beginning.
