As one of the last survivors, you search for secret documents and terminals to get to the bottom of the chaos. Along the way, some will stand in your way, including other humans and insane robots.
If an enemy discovers you, only two things help: run away and hide. Since you cannot fight back, the danger is significantly greater compared to games like Dead Space or Resident Evil.

With its sci-fi story addressing themes like identity, consciousness, and the question of what it means to be human, SOMA has taken a firm place in the minds of many players.
