The Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone has been playable for a few weeks now and apparently, increasing problems with cheaters are becoming apparent. Clips of apparently immortal players have even surfaced.
What kind of cheat is this? Twitter user Lance Pitcher has shared a clip where he faces off against an opponent with his team. He fires magazine after magazine into the body of the opponent without appearing to care.
His teammates assist him and even get knocked out themselves at times. When he finally manages to position himself behind the opponent, he performs a Execution Kill. This is a longer animation where an opponent is killed instantly.
His character should actually squash the opponent’s head with his boot – but the opponent simply gets back up and happily mows him down, as seen in the video here:

Warzone and Problems with Cheats
What is the problem? Some players now suspect that it is a cheater using a so-called “God mode,” meaning immortality. Others believe it could just be a bug that the opponent accidentally encountered.
However, videos of cheaters and users of hacks in Warzone keep circulating. Aimbots seem to be particularly popular. Clips of streamers are increasingly being shown where their crosshairs and shots hit suspiciously accurately or even snap to body parts within milliseconds, as seen in the video by reddit user keefo:
While this may just be an annoyance for some, for others it can be truly frustrating. Especially when you’re about to achieve a celebrated victory in Warzone and would actually win, only to be taken out by a cheater.
Further problems in Warzone: In addition to cheats or bugs, if they are such, glitches are also circulating at the moment. For example, weapons can be found in the Gulag that shouldn’t be there – an unfair advantage.
The players are currently demanding that Infinity Ward address the issue, put a stop to cheaters, and fix the particularly annoying errors.
Infinity Ward patches weekly – however, with today’s update from March 31, the remaster of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign is expected. In the developer Trello, there are no notes yet regarding cheaters or these bugs.
Cheats and cheating are not even necessary to be good in Warzone. A team shows how you can rack up a lot of kills with a few tips and tricks.
