23-year-old Antonia “Reved” Staab is the largest streamer on German Twitch and can also keep up with some of her male colleagues. Now she is also leading internationally.
What has the streamer achieved? Reved already regularly tops our list of the largest German female streamers, but now the 23-year-old is also the most-watched woman on Twitch. With 920,000 watched hours in the last 7 days, she has almost double that of second place (via Streamcharts).
Sleeping to the Top of Twitch
How did she do it? Reved held her annual “7-day stream” last week, during which she is live around the clock. Even in her sleep, the 23-year-old streamed, which led to curious situations and a viral clip.
During her streaming marathon, Reved provided plenty of entertainment: she played various games, watched videos with her fans, and even had guest stars for the big finale. For example, she got hypnotized with her colleagues HoneyPuu and starletnova and even revealed her secret preferences.
With so much effort, the ranking is more than deserved, at least according to her fans on Twitter. However, other factors also contribute to Reved’s success. The streamers are sorted by watch time, that is, the number of hours their fans have spent with them in total.
During her slightly extended marathon stream, Reved was live for 225 hours straight, with only a short interruption. Combined with her average of over 8,000 viewers during this time, this results in the high viewer hours (via sullygnome).
Moreover, there seems to be a sort of “power vacuum” on Twitch, since Pokimane, the queen of Twitch, streams less and Amouranth divides her time between the platform and rival Kick. For some, the comparison to Amouranth therefore seems obvious.
“Just because Amouranth streams on Kick,” jokes a Twitter user. Most, however, are happy for Reved’s success. The 23-year-old is currently taking a short break from Twitch but will surely return soon with new content.
However, Reved does not only have to deal with nasty comments in her own comment sections but also with her young colleague Fibii. The nasty remarks under a harmless video of the 17-year-old prompted the Twitch streamer to intervene:
