The Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max is a good headset if your head isn’t too big
Why is the headset worth it? In my test on MeinMMO about the Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max, I particularly liked the balanced sound, which convinced me both in gaming and in movies.
Thanks to the USB dongle, the headset can be easily connected to the PS5, computer, or other devices. This is very practical, as the PS5 currently does not allow external Bluetooth devices without a dongle.
The headset is also very robust: a metal frame is integrated into the headband, giving the headset stability. In addition, it has a decent battery life of around 30 hours. The buttons on the headset also feel intuitive and are found quickly.

What are the downsides? I personally have a rather small head, so the headset fit me very well and I found it comfortable. However, the larger your head is, the more uncomfortable the headset is likely to be for you. This is because the headset casing is very rigid and offers little room for the head. Manufacturers like SteelSeries, which use a flexible headband, have more ergonomic options here.
I also find it unfortunate that the built-in microphone is at best “only” average. This doesn’t bother me much on the PC, as I have an external microphone connected to the computer. A very good microphone is, for example, the JBL Quantum Stream for around 100 euros.
Also not to be underestimated: In summer, memory foam can get very hot very quickly and cause sweaty ears. With fabric cushions like those on the Arctis Nova 7 (for the test), you will be better off.
