Currently, the game is in Early Access on Steam. However, the full release is now announced for November 2, 2023.
We have embedded the appropriate trailer for you here:
What to expect: My Time at Sandrock takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. You are located 330 years after the Day of Calamity
, which destroyed most of the modern technology.
You find yourself in the wild but resilient desert town of Sandrock due to a job offer. There, you will pursue your new job as a craftsman to restore the town and its community to its former glory.
The following features are promised to you:
- Gather resources to build machines
- Build out your own workshop
- Explore the open desert world and investigate ancient ruins
- Grow plants and harvest them for delicious dishes
- Interact with NPCs within the story and side quests
- Build relationships with your neighbors
- Fight in melee and ranged combat against monsters
Multiplayer so far only as sandbox mode
In addition to a loving story that you will experience in single-player mode, the game also offers you a multiplayer mode. However, this is currently a pure sandbox mode and still has a few minor quirks here and there. Whether and how the multiplayer will change after the full release is still unclear at this time.
