A reader of the manga One Piece was actually just looking to borrow a copy to read from the library. Instead, he found a strange edition of the manga that is making the community laugh.
What did he find? The Reddit user Hostorical-Fox6171 found a manga in his library that has supposedly been there for quite a while. He is unsure if this is an official release, as it looks so real. However, he couldn’t find anything about it online.
Just from the cover, it is clear that this is an unusual version of One Piece. The story itself is the same as in the original One Piece manga. However, the editor made small changes that do not appear in the original:
Details in the images have indeed been altered. For example, Shanks notices that Luffy has rubber powers by pulling on his tongue. In the original, he pulls on his arm. Additionally, some dialogues have been altered or memes familiar to the community have been included.

Where does the manga come from? One user suspects that someone had the fun idea of making some changes to the manga and printing it out. Perhaps he then brought it to the library to troll other readers.
Another user believes that this is a reference to the Oingo Boingo Brothers Adventure. The Oingo Boingo is a spin-off of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure that depicts the future predictions in the manga, but in a humorous drawing style (via JoJo’s Bizarre Wiki).
While there are occasionally spin-offs of One Piece, we also believe that such changes would not be approved by Eiichiro Oda himself. Nonetheless, the changes in the manga are so funny that the community can’t help but laugh.

How do fans find the manga? Many of the commenters would even pay money to buy such a manga. They find the changes hilarious. Especially the fact that Zoro has finally learned the four-sword style seems to amuse many.
User Raptor231408 writes that he laughed so loudly at Zoro that he woke up his baby. Some users in the comments, therefore, expressed the desire to read the entire manga.
