In Diablo 4 leveling your heroes is an important part of your journey to finally reach the endgame. The journey may be long, but with a certain dungeon, you can reach level 40 in less than 2 hours. We will show you why.
Which dungeon is it? This is the dungeon “Tunnel of Domhainne.” The dungeon, located north of Scoslgen, is full of wildlife, vampires, and goatmen.
The priority in this dungeon is to free prisoners, but if you want to use the dungeon for farming, you need to proceed differently. There is a good reason why this is one of the best dungeons for farming XP.

Why is the dungeon so good? With patch 1.1.1, Blizzard has increased the enemy density in all Nightmare dungeons. You no longer have to wander through empty corridors, but can expect a greater density of enemies and action – this also applies to regular dungeons.
Whether this is a bug or a feature is unclear. Actually, only the Nightmare dungeons should benefit from this adjustment.
The Tunnel of Domhainne is even more worthwhile because you can encounter a huge amount of enemies in this dungeon. The corridors are narrow, so you do not have to search and scour large rooms but can systematically traverse the tunnels and eliminate all enemies in succession.
How do I proceed with farming? To farm XP optimally, you should join a squad. Additionally, before you start your route, it’s best to consume a potion to benefit from an additional 5% XP bonus. Once you have made all the preparations, proceed as follows:
- Enter the dungeon
- Fight your way through the dungeon without freeing the prisoners
- Open your emote wheel and exit the dungeon
- Now open your journal and reset your dungeons
- Visit the dungeon again and repeat the steps
YouTuber Raxxanterax was able to level his Sorceress to level 40 in a test in 2 hours and 7 minutes. He used the Tunnel dungeon and consumed several potions in the process.
