Graphics cards are the heart of the system for gaming PCs. However, anyone looking at the current market and its prices can only shake their head. Many gamers are not willing to pay as much for an upgrade of their chip as for a whole PC. For this reason, a company has now built an all-in-one graphics card that has everything a PC needs – but is meant as a joke.
What kind of product is this? It is the GeeFarce 5027POS in the UCOR edition. This product looks like a graphics card, but in reality, it contains an entire PC that actually works. The company behind the project, CherryTree Computers, is known for its custom PC cases like the Picard Borg Cube from Star Trek.
They are also aware of the developments in the PC hardware market. For many gamers, upgrading to the latest hardware is unthinkable, especially when it comes to prices. If you want to get your hands on an RTX 5090 now, you have to pay over 2,000 euros – nearly as much as a complete, solid gaming PC.
CherryTree Computers is aware of this, and that’s why they decided to make a joke by building a graphics card that can do it all. The tech experts from Gamer Nexus received the technical wonder and were even allowed to test it (via youtube.com).
A great joke, but disappointing in practice
How good is the graphics card? Inside the small PC is an ASUS NUC 13 with a 13th Gen Core i7 from Intel, 64 GB DDR4 RAM, and a 2 TB SSD. The hardware has been crammed into an old GIGABYTE Aorus 2070
case and additionally equipped with an LED strip. The fans of the old graphics card still work and cool the hardware in addition to the actual fan.
Gaming Nexus did not only want to express its fascination but also to test the good piece. Therefore, this PC was subjected to a benchmark, and the results are more than disappointing. The system is much worse than an RTX 2070 Super in terms of score.
In comparison, this means:
| Night Raid Score | Graphic Score | CPU Score | |
| RTX 2070 Super | 75.682 | 125.923 | 23.210 |
| GeeFarce 5027POS | 19.029 | 21.279 | 11.900 |
For context: An RTX 2070 Super is a solid graphics card for gaming at 1080p. However, it becomes challenging at 1440p on high settings. The GeeFarce 5027POS is even below that.
What is positive, however, is the temperature of the GeeFarce 5027POS. One might think the system would have heating issues because all the components are crammed together, but that’s not the case. Under load, the system can maintain temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Celsius.
Regarding games, CherryTree Computers has also demonstrated that you can play Doom 1, 2, and even Quantum Break without problems with their product. However, do not expect games with high graphics demands.
Conclusion on the graphics card: Although the graphics card makes a serious impression, the product is meant as a joke by CherryTree Computers. The GeeFarce 5027POS humorously illustrates the current problem gamers are facing: the absurd prices of a graphics card.
Maybe one day a company will decide to build a real high-end PC into the case of a graphics card, but until then, we will have to wait – and no, the GeeFarce 5027POS is not for sale.
