The new extraction shooter Hawked begins early access on Steam. A colorful shooter with a lot of action that takes you to a special island with hidden treasures. MeinMMO reveals what to expect.
Since November 30th, you can play the third-person shooter Hawked from My.Games, initially only in early access. The colorful free game promises a lot of action with the new trailer. It is also an extraction shooter. The basic gameplay experience is fight, loot, escape, repeat.
On which platforms can I play the game? Hawked is now available on PC via Steam or through the My.Games launcher. Versions for consoles are also planned for early 2024.

What kind of game is this? In the world of Hawked, the GRAIL, an adventure guild, has discovered a mysterious island called X-Isle
. As players, you are renegades, also called traitors, and you are dropped on this mysterious island full of ruins and ancient sites to search for old relics of a long-forgotten civilization.
But these temples are not just abandoned – they are guarded by traps and puzzles protecting the treasure chambers from grave robbers. You can expect hidden treasures, dangerous creatures, and tricky challenges.
Along with a team of three, you embark on a captivating mission, face off against other players and monsters, solve small puzzles, and collect glyphs that lead you to the main artifact – giving you a powerful advantage.
The goal is to escape the island safely without losing your loot to the competition. If you die, you lose your loot. If you escape with the powerful artifact, you can use and upgrade it in the next games.
What else can you expect in Hawked? A striking feature of the shooter is its unique visuals. The battles are accompanied by visual representations reminiscent of comic books – for example, with a Bang
when shooting. The characters and some environments are marked with distinctive hatching that also evokes the charm of comics.
The dynamic island is meant to evolve with each run, creating a unique experience and new challenges. After surviving successfully on the island, renegades can be upgraded and equipped with new abilities.
When is the full release? According to the developers, Hawked is planned to be released as a full version in early 2024. During the entire early access phase, the developers intend to work on the game and polish it based on player
feedback.
After the release, they plan to deliver regular seasonal updates with a wealth of new content, including equipment, artifacts, modes, and new storylines.
