Twitch streamer Max “Trymacs” Stemmler played Fortnite with a stranger three years ago. This resulted in a video that still haunts him today.
What is this clip about? In a video, Twitch streamer Trymacs played Fortnite. He randomly matched with other players and was paired in a duo with a young boy. The boy greeted him among other things with the words: “What’s up, yallah?” Trymacs responded with a restrained “Oh, hello”.
Thereupon a dialogue unfolded, in which Trymacs had to struggle to contain his laughter multiple times. The exchange between the two has often been mocked, and now the clip seems to have resurfaced on social media.
“Thousands of times in my chat”
Trymacs is still haunted by the clip: The Twitch streamer only wants to play Clash Royale and stream in peace, but then he gets matched with a very special opponent: what’s up yallah

Trymacs then reacts somewhat annoyed: “Of course I’m playing against ‘what’s up yallah’. (…) That’s been thousands of times in my chat all day. Some three-year-old clip is being misused on TikTok. I have to say, misused.” (Source: YouTube).
The Twitch streamer further explains that the transcribed dialogue can be found in many comment sections. Even in his Twitch chat, messages with the words “what’s up yallah” are repeatedly seen.

In the latest episode of Trymacs’ podcast Offline + Ehrlich
, his podcast partner Sascha “unsympathischTV” Hellinger addresses the situation. He mentions that he has watched one of Trymacs’ streams and saw many of the messages: “That is really the new greeting for you.” (Source: Spotify from minute 21:52).
Even if something is from several years ago in the Twitch bubble: As long as the situation is funny, such an incident will always be quoted by viewers.
