Streamer loses all deals he has built up
Have other companies distanced themselves from him? Yes, his football career is also over. The San Francisco 49ers no longer want anything to do with him. Just a few months ago, he was able to make a draft pick for them.
His connection with “Mountain Dew,” where he had his own drink, has also been cut off.
With the manufacturer of gaming headsets, Turtle Beach, it’s over as well; he had a partnership with them since 2020.
What was that collaboration with NBA2k4 like? DrDisrespect is 2.03 m tall and played basketball during his college years in the NCAA. Therefore, a collaboration with the basketball franchise made sense.
He entered the game series at the end of 2022 in NBA 2K23. Back then, you had to meet DrDisrespect in a quest centered around “Mountain Dew” and defeat him in a game of H.O.R.S.E.
Why is he being removed from the game now? In recent days, it was revealed why DrDisrespect was banned from Twitch in 2020 – something that no one outside a small circle at Twitch knew for a long time.
It is alleged that DrDisrespect sent sexually explicit messages to a minor in 2017.
DrDisrespect pointed out that an arbitration with Twitch concluded that he did nothing wrong, but the noose tightened in recent days, when his own gaming studio cut ties with him after an investigation.
DrDisrespect eventually partially admitted to the allegations but denied the implication that he is a pedophile.
Update June 28, 10:46 AM: By now, YouTube has also become active and published a statement on how they will handle DrDisrespect in the future: YouTube cuts off DrDisrespect’s revenue – due to 7-year-old messages on Twitch.
