The MMORPG Justice Online has been playable in China since 2018. The game has gained significant attention especially due to its beautiful graphics and action-packed battles. There is now a hint that the title may finally be released in Europe.
What is Justice Online?
- Justice Online was released in China in 2018 by NetEase (known in Europe for Diablo Immortal). In 2023, a cross-platform version between PC and mobile was launched.
- The MMORPG relies on ray tracing and mesh shading
- The character editor is extremely detailed and without gender lock

- There are in-depth stories, choices, and cutscenes

Fundamentally, Justice Online is reminiscent of MMORPGs like Swords of Legends Online, which was released here in 2021. However, NetEase has created an open game world with more diverse biomes, including deserts and rocky islands with lava.

Release of Justice Online soon in Europe
When will Justice Online arrive here? Actually, the MMORPG was supposed to be released here in 2022. However, to this day, fans of Justice Online are still waiting in vain for the release in the West. There is a way to play the title in Germany, but you need to know Chinese or be prepared to invest some time and patience.
Now, NetEase itself gives a hint that the release in the West is near (via reddit.com). The company has filed a trademark application for Sword of Justice (via trademarks.justia.com). This might be a new name that the developer and publisher is adopting for the release in Europe.
The application was submitted on September 1, 2023. However, there has been no official announcement since then. So we should wait to see if anything happens regarding this matter soon.
It is not known whether NetEase will release the original PC version or the cross-platform version for PC and mobile here.
How is the game funded? Similar to Swords of Legends, there is a free version available at the beginning. However, later you will need to pay money to buy gaming hours. Additionally, there are microtransactions where players can purchase equipment items for real money.
It is not known how the payment model will look in the West.
