Malbolge is the epitome of sloth, corruption, and perverse beauty. It is a place of physical horror and decay, ruled by a mistress who finds her own version of aesthetics in a strange blend of cruelty, decadence, and rot.
Her ruler is none other than Asmodeus’ daughter Glasya, who is often referred to as the Princess of Hell. She is obsessed with her concept of beauty, fashion, luxury, and cruel intrigue.
Her predecessor was the Vettel Malagard, whose decaying, but still living corpse now forms the environment of the sixth hell layer. After her fall, her body was inflated to monstrous size by a curse and imploded, reshaping the entire hell layer from her remains.
Malbolge now consists of pulsing flesh and bones, permeated by rivers of bile and other bodily fluids. The landscape itself is alive and constantly changes, as if infested by uncontrollable tumors.
