Place 6: Radegast (Iron Lords)
What makes Radegast so strong? Many players may not know Radegast from Destiny 2, but this Titan was the founder of the Iron Lords and the driving force behind showing the Guardians that the Traveler’s light must be used for good.
In the Dark Age, warlords ruled over different areas of the world. These warlords were “Awoken” – the first Guardians with Ghosts. However, not all were peaceful. Many of them abused their power and terrorized other civilians.
Therefore, Radegast founded the Iron Lords, whose mission was to seek out every warlord and bring them to reason, and if that didn’t work, to destroy them – even their Ghost if necessary.
Thus, all warlords were decimated, and the foundation was laid for creating the Last City. A harbor where mankind can live in peace. Even though he fell in the Cosmodrome due to an ambush by Rasputin, his legacy can still be felt.
Place 5: Ikora
What makes Ikora so strong? Even if many don’t want to believe it, Ikora deserves her place on the list. As a student of Osiris, she possesses a sharp mind and a wealth of knowledge about various talents of the Guardians as well as the enemies of humanity.
She can also dish it out, as she is one of the best fighters in the Crucible according to Shaxx, and has even injured him so badly that he can no longer sit properly to this day.
Her true strength lies in her leadership skills. The Vanguard consisted of Zavala, Cayde-6, and Ikora, but without her character, the collaboration of the individual Vanguard members would not be possible. She keeps the team together, and that is important, as without her there would be no Last City and, therefore, no safe haven for the last remnants of humanity.
