What do achievements do for you in Genshin Impact? Achievements primarily give you one thing: Primogems. With that, you can wish for numerous characters or weapons at the Gacha banners available at that time in Genshin Impact.
Since the game starts giving you fewer Primogems after a while, it might be worth it to earn achievements. Currently, you can earn a total of 530 achievements and thus 4,325 Primogems (via Genshin Wiki).
Where can you find the achievements? On PC, you can access the menu via ESC, and on PlayStation via the Options button, where you can find the “Achievements” sub-menu. The achievements are divided into different categories.
When you click on a category, you can view the details of the achievements. However, there are secret achievements that you can only see once you’ve actually achieved them. They will not be listed beforehand.

1. Achievement: “A Praise to the Belly”
How do you get the achievement? You must have a team of four characters for this achievement. Then you need to fill them up with self-cooked dishes until they are full.
You can see their saturation by the smiley under the characters. When it is red, the heroes are sufficiently filled. Once you have filled all 4 characters, you will receive the achievement.

2. Achievement: “Anyone Can Be a Gourmet”
How do you get the achievement? You can also achieve this by wasting food.
Do it like Raiden Shogun and prepare a failed dish ten times. Since cooking in Genshin Impact is very easy, you might not have unlocked this simple achievement yet.
For this, it’s best to choose a dish that doesn’t cost you too many valuable materials: Teyvat Fried Egg or the Steak.

3. Achievement: “Penalty Kick”
How do you get the achievement? You must ensure that a Hilichurl cannot dig up a Pyro Slime. This happens when he is standing in knee-deep water.
The easiest way is to teleport to the Statue of The Seven in Dihua Marsh in Liyue. Then head east of the statue, towards Sal Terrae. After the two larger green islands on the map, there’s a smaller one where you’ll find a Hilichurl who is unsuccessfully digging for a Pyro Slime.
He will easily grant you the achievement “Penalty Kick”.

4. Achievement: “All Uninvolved Machines Please Leave the Area Immediately!”
How do you get the achievement? When you face the world boss “Perpetual Mechanical Array” in Inazuma, the boss will eventually fall to the ground and summon its Ruin Guards. You must not defeat them.
Normally, you attack the Ruin Guard that has a yellow circle around it. This time, however, do not do that. Ignore the Ruin Guards until the boss recovers and you can attack him again.
If you defeat the “Perpetual Mechanical Array” without destroying a Ruin Guard, you will get the achievement.

5. Achievement: “Hello… Is Anyone There?”
How do you get the achievement? You need to find a hidden door in Ritou in Inazuma. When you use the middle teleporter in Ritou, head south.
Keep walking behind all the houses in the town until you come across a lone one in the greenery. Behind this house is the secret door that grants you the achievement along with a quest.
The quest rewards you with Adventure EXP, EXP cards, and 20,000 Mora.

6. Achievement: “Is This One of the Four Winds?”
How do you get the achievement? You must defeat an Anemo Damage Dealer after triggering all of its elemental transformations. It sounds complicated, but you just need to have 4 characters of different elements:
- Hydro
- Cryo
- Electro
- Pyro
The Anemo Damage Dealer will eventually use an attack that briefly grants it a shield. Counter with an attack that deals elemental damage to break the shield.
You do this four times with the 4 different characters, then you can defeat it to receive the achievement.

7. Achievement: “Dry Cleaning”
How do you get the achievement? To get this achievement, you must defeat the Hydro Hypostasis without destroying the slimes it creates.
You should only defeat the slimes when the Hydro Hypostasis wants to restore health points.

8. Achievement: “Smells Like a Spirit!”
How do you get the achievement? You need to get hit by three consecutive mimic attacks of the Pyro Hypostasis and then defeat it. You recognize this combination by the following sequence:
- First, the Hypostasis performs a kind of bull,
- then it disappears into the ground and rises up like a dolphin,
- finally, it becomes a ball, which dissolves into a vortex of fire butterflies.
The achievement counts if you get hit, even though you are protected by a shield, like Zhongli.
If you’re not sure what the Hypostasis combination looks like, walk around a bit and let it perform attacks. You will recognize the combo at the latest when the butterfly vortex appears.
