What is The 4th Coming? The 4th Coming takes place in a medieval world with magic and fantasy. You play in a world that was once inhabited and built on stories of elves, dwarves, and other beings eons ago.

A divine herald warned all the races inhabiting the world that they would be tested. Three times the herald has wiped out civilizations that proved unworthy. The fourth time, he warned the remaining people, the humans, to which you belong.

This is why The 4th Coming is special: As one of the oldest MMORPGs, The 4th Coming has undergone numerous difficulties. After changing publishers multiple times and becoming unsustainable, it was supposed to be shut down in 2010.

This was taken over and continued at his own expense by Christian Sprenger, known as Archon, and a colleague. They still operate the servers today and have even managed to release The 4th Coming on Steam.

However, the number of players is still relatively low. On the shared servers, approximately 100-200 players are present. The few players that exist help each other and are still quite active in the forums.

Are there still updates? Yes. The 4th Coming is still maintained by enthusiasts despite the low number of players and even receives events from time to time to offer players variety.
