Monster Hunter World will soon receive the G-Rank expansion, which is considered the true endgame of the action RPG. From then on, you will be able to hunt on an ice map that brings new monsters with it.
Nothing has been yearned for more by the players of Monster Hunter World than the G-Rank and new challenges. Slowly, it became boring for players from the early days to only hunt the same monsters in the same areas.
Now a fresh, icy wind comes to the New World.
G-Rank is challenging: With this Hunter rank, the monsters will be larger, wilder, stronger, and will have new move sets. However, new, stronger armors and weapons will be the reward.

Frost on the winter map weakens: On the winter map, you can expect a frosty tundra, for which you better have some hot drinks stocked. The frost drastically reduces your stamina. However, you can expect an icy ground on which you can execute new sliding maneuvers. These are practical for dodging or performing jump attacks.
Previously unseen monsters: Capcom has already announced that a new Elder Dragon will disrupt the ecosystem of the new world. It leads hunters into the icy desert, which has remained hidden from us until now. It is said to bring three new large monsters that thematically fit the tundra.
Old acquaintances: There will also be familiar monsters from the franchise on the new map. The fluffy Paolumu and the ice dragon Legiana will move from the Coral Highlands to the winter map. Other known monsters to appear here include: Jade-Barroth, Alatreon, and Barioth.
What else is there? To celebrate the DLC, the Wild Keeper will receive the “Ice Princess” outfit and Poogie will don the “Ice Leg” costume. For your Palico, there is also the “Snowman” armor.
